Indian Army Physical Standard
In order to recruit the best candidates, there are sets of physical standard formed by Indian defence government. The physical criteria are as follow.
- Height: The Height of the candidates must be 137 cms. This criterion can be relaxed according to the region of the candidates and mostly for Gorkha Candidates.
- Chest: Candidates chest after the expansion should not be less than 77cms. There must be a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
- Weight: Candidates weight should not be less than 50m kg.
