Southern Railway Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates Should have passed 10th Class under 10, +2 System of education or its equivalent.
• Passed ITI course in relevant trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate

Age Limit

• Candidate’s age must be between 15 years to 24 years.
• The age relaxation is permissible for the reserved category candidates will be based on the Tamil Nadu Government Rules.

Salary Pay Scale

• All Other Trades: During the 1st year of training Rs.5700/- p.m. and Mechanic DSL: Rs.5900/-p.m.
• All Other Trades: During the 2nd year of training Rs.6500/- p.m. Mechanic DSL: Rs.6700/-p.m.
• All Other Trades: During the 3rd year of training Rs.7350/- p.m. Mechanic DSL: Rs.7550/-p.m.
