Follow these steps to apply online for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test.

• Visit the official website of the recruiting Authority.
• Click on the “ Apply online Link”
• Fill all the required Details.
• Make the payment, and don’t forget to check your application details before the final submit.
• Take a printout of the application form for further process.

NOTE: Candidates who are eligible to apply for both the papers (Paper-1 for Class 1 to 5 and Paper-2 for class 6 to 8 teacher eligibility test), have to apply separately for both papers.

The recruiting Authority has Kept Eligibility Criteria for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test this way.

Education Qualifications

• Candidates must have graduation degree in any discipline with minimum 50%
• Primary Teacher Eligibility: B.T.C training from UP or 4 Years diploma in elementary education or 2 years diploma in Special education.
• Eligibility For Upper Primary Teacher: 1-year Duration Courses like B.E.L/BTC or 2 years courses like BTC/CT.

UPTET 2025 Selection Procedure

The Selection Procedure for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Is this Way:

• Written Test (Objective Type)
• Final Result/Merit List

Paper First ( for 1 to 5 Class) :

• Candidates will be given Multiple Type Questions to solve within 150 minutes,
• Questions will include sections like Hindi Language, Environment Studies, Math, other languages test may include-English, Urdu and Sanskrit, Education on Child Development.
• All the sections will have equals the number of the question as well as Weight-age.

Paper Second (for 6 to 8 Class):

• The time limit is 150 Questions, with 150 multiple Choice Questions having
• Weight -age of 150 Marks.
• However the sections are somewhat different from Paper first, subjects are Hindi Language, Education on child Development, any one language from- Urdu, English, social science and math.
