1. 31st ASEAN-India Summit Begins, Modi to Bring Some Important Negotiations
Major Highlights:
- Modi will be attending bilateral meetings with the Donald Trump and Rodrigo Duterte, Shinzo Abe and Malcolm Turnbull.
- The summit is being organized in Manila city of the Philippines.
- Rodrigo Duterte is the president of Philippines while Malcolm Turnbull is the Australian Prime Minister.
- The ASEAN stands for the Association of South East Asian Nations comprising of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. And all of them want India to be engaged within their region.
2. No Islamic Banking Will Be Implemented In India
Major Highlights:
- The petition was asked by one of the PTI correspondents.
- According to the Islamic banking rules, interest is not charged by people.
- According to RBI the policies shall be equal for all and already provide similar privilege to all citizens.
3. Sushil to Make His Comeback After 3years
Major Highlights:
- He will be participating in the National Wrestling Championship which will take place in Indore from November 15.
- The last appearance made by the player was in Rio Olympics where he ended winning gold.
- Other players expected to make an appearance in the game are Shakshi Malik, Geeta and Vinesh Phogat.
4. Leander-Raja in the finals of Knoxville Challenge
Major Highlights:
- This is the first time that the duo has earned any title together reaching in ATP Knoxville Challenger.
- The pair of Leander Paes and Purav Raja was formed in August.
- ATP is the Association of Tennis Players taking different challenges from around the world.
