Educational Qualification

 Age limit

• The candidate’s minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age limit should be 30 years.
• The candidates falling under reserve categories gets age relaxation such as 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Salary

Selected candidates will be initially offered Rs 19900/- plus allowances with reference to 7th pay commission. Apart from the gross salary of RRB employee’s also get numerous facilities ranging from transport allowance, house rent, medical allowance, to new Pension scheme facilities.

At present, RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Pay is 30,000 based on 7th pay commission. Rs 19900/- in hand salary and 30% running pay +T.A+ D.A+ HRA+ night pay duty+ national holiday pay + O.T. + O.T.

Registration Part-I

• Interested candidates need to go to the official website of the RRB i.e. www.indianrailways.gov.in.
• Click on the Region Wise Section and choose the Region according to their choice.
• Click on the Click here to Apply for CEN 01/2018 Link.
• Click on the “New Registration” Button below if you are Registering for the first time.
• Fill up the basic details viz. Full Name, Father’s name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth,State, Mobile number, E-mail Id, Aadhar number etc.
• Complete the Registration process by filling all the details for generating a Registration Id & Password for login and OTPs (One Time Password) for validation.
• The Registration Id and password will be displayed on the screen. OTPs will be sent to your registered mobile number and E-mail id.
• Click On Apply/Edit option on the screen. Complete the Eligibility Criteria Form and Submit. Make sure all the information is filled correctly. After this you will be directed to the Payment.
• Select the Payment Mode.
• After successful payment, complete the remaining application form by filling up additional details and Documents Upload. Click Final Submit. Take printout of application and preserve it.

The First Stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The score of first stage exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for second stage exam as per their merit.

RRB ALP & Technician Exam Pattern (Stage 2nd)

Short listing of Candidates for the Second Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the First Stage CBT Exam. Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for second stage shall be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of ALP and Technician Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in First Stage CBT.

• The marks scored in Part A alone shall be used for short listing of candidates for further stages of recruitment process subject to the condition that the candidate is securing qualifying mark in Part B.
• The part B is qualifying in nature and shall have questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by Director General of Employment & Training (DGET). Candidates with ITI/Trade Apprenticeship qualification will be required to appear in the section having questions from the relevant trade.
