AP TET Eligibility

Educational Qualification for Classes I-V

• Candidate should have passed Intermediate / Senior Secondary with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/BC)marks and the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

Or

• The candidates who have passed Intermediate / Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks + done 2 year Diploma and pass/admitted D.El.Ed / D.Ed are eligible.

Educational Qualification for Classes VI-VII

The candidate should have passed BA/ B.Sc./B.Com. with min 50% marks + pass Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education)

OR

• The candidate should have done BA/ B.Sc./B.Com. with min 50% marks + Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates, who have passed or admitted to B.Ed.

OR

• 4years B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. with min 50% marks

• Graduate in the concerned language and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed in it.

APTET Syllabus 2024

To perform better and score good marks in the exam it is very important for the participants to know the structure of the exam. The AP Teacher Eligibility Test Exam Date & exam pattern will be different for the primary and elementary class teachers. The time allotted to attempt the paper will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
