HP SET 2024: Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Dates, and Syllabus

HP SET 2024: The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the State Eligibility Test (SET) in the month of February/March (Sunday) for determining the Eligibility for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges located within the State of Himachal Pradesh. The Eligible and interested candidates can complete the HP SET Online Application in the online mode. The last date for the HP SET exam apply online is November. The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission is the authorized authority for conducting HP SET exam 2024.

HP SET Exam 2024 Notification

(हिमाचल प्रदेश सेट परीक्षा): The candidates have to apply online to fill HP SET Online Application Form 2024. The test will be conducted in 22 subjects at various examination centers located at Shimla, Solan, Mandi, Sunder Nagar, Dharamshala, Palampur, and Kangra subject to the number of candidates. HP SET 2024 Application Form

The Candidates applying for HP SET Exam Application Form 2024 should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the State Eligibility Test (SET). Their admission at all the stages of the SET will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Commission takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for Test.

HP SET Application Fee:

The application fee and mode of payment are discussed here in the below table and it is given categories wisely. The online application fee will only be accepted until the last date.

Only Himachal Pradesh resident candidates will be treated as the reserved category and the reserved categories of other states will be treated as general category candidates.

HP SET Exam Eligibility Criteria

The students have to fulfill the HP SET eligibility criteria to attend the exam. The eligibility criterion has been mentioned below:

Education Qualification

• For General 55% marks in P.G. and 50% mark for SC/ST/OBC PWD.
• For the candidates who are Ph.D. and completed it by 19/09/1991 should have 50% marks.

The exam date has not been released by the board and the tentative month on which the HPPSC SET Exam can be organized is Feb. /Mar. 2024 (Sunday).
