SSC CPO Medical Test 2019 Date: The Staff Selection Commission conducts a competitive examination, which is popularly known as CPO (Central Police Organization). SSC CPO Selection Process 2019
In order to select the candidates, the recruitment board follows a scheme of examination which consists of these stages. Those candidates who clear these four rounds are finally selected.
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- (Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Medical Examination
All these four (4) stages of the examination are mandatory. Candidates are called for these stages on the basis of their performance in the previous (stage). And to measure the candidate’s performance, SSC CPO Medical Standard the board fixes, qualifying marks criteria for each of the stages.

SSC CPO SI Medical Standard 2019
Only those candidates are called for Paper-II and the Medical Examination, which is conducted subsequently, who qualify in Paper-I and PET/ PST examination. Complete details over SSC CPO SI Medical Test Date 2019 plus other posts medical eligibility is given below.
Medical Standard (For all CPO Posts)

The minimum near vision should be N6 (for the better eye) and N9 (for the worse eye)
The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (for the better eye) and 6/9 ( for the worse eye)
|Knee||The candidate must not have (knock knee), (flat foot), (varicose vein or squint in eyes).|
|Tattoo||To resolve the issues of having “tattoo” during the medical examination: Only tattoos depicting religious symbol or figures and the name are to be permitted.|
|Tattoos marked on the inner aspect of the forearm (but only left forearm, being non-saluting limb or dorsum of the hands are to be allowed.|
|Size: Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.|
|Note: For Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, above clauses on tattoos are not applicable.|
SSC CPO Medical Examination 2019
Candidates who qualify in Paper-II will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPF’s/ any other Medical Officer/ Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.
Note: Candidates, who are found unfit in SSC CPO Medical Eligibility 2019, they can make an appeal before “Review Medical Board” within the prescribed time limit, which is generally 15 days. Further decision of the RE-Medical Board/ Review Medical Board will be final and no appeal against the decision of the Re-Medical Board/ Review Medical Board will be accepted.
After, medical examination, finally, selected candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector would, as part of training curriculum, have to pass seven events as mentioned below, failing which they may not be retained in the Force.
- Jumping over the Vertical Board
- Holding the rope on jumping from the Board
- Tarzan Swing
- Jumping on the Horizontal Board
- Parallel Rope
- Monkey Crawl
- Vertical Rope.

Admission Certificate/ Admit Card for the examination for each of the candidates is published on the official SSC, one week before the date of examination. The recruitment board does not send “SSC CPO SI Medical Admit Card” by post.
