TNPSC AE Eligibility 2025

Educational Qualification

Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health

• The candidate should have completed a degree in Mechanical or Production or Industrial or Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Textile Technology.

Junior Electrical Inspector

• The candidate should have done a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Equal preference to other degrees with similar degrees will be given only if the candidate has gone undergone Apprenticeship Training under the Government of India Scheme or the State Government Apprenticeship Scheme for one year.

Assistant Engineer (Agricultural Engineering)

• The candidate should have done B.E. (Agriculture) or B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) or B.Sc., (Agricultural Engineering).

Or

• The candidate has completed a degree in B.E. (Mechanical) (or) B.E. (Civil) (or) B.Tech (Automobile Engineering) or B.E. (Production Engineering) or B.E. (Industrial Engineering)

Assistant Engineer

The candidate should have done Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Or

The candidates should have passed the examination of AMIE in the Civil Engineering Branch conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India) and practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year.

Age limit

• The maximum age limit for the candidates is 30 years.
• Candidates from the SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, and BCMs have no age limit.

Application and Examination Fee

The candidate will have to pay Rs 150/- as one-time registration fee and 200/- as the examination fee.
