TNPSC Group 4 Steno Typist Eligibility

Education Qualification

• The candidates should have passed 10th
• The candidates should have passed the technical written examination in typewriting and shorthand by higher or senior grade in English or Tamil.
• Candidates should have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.
• Adequate knowledge of computer is must for all.

Age Limit

• The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years and the maximum is 35 years.
• The maximum age extension is up to 53 years for candidates belonging to reserved categories under special cases.

Pay Scale

• The steno typist will get a monthly salary of Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + 2,800-G.P.
• The typist will get a monthly salary of Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + 2,400-G.P.

Application Fee

• The applicants will have to pay the Rs. 150/- as the fee in order to process their application.
