MAHA TET 2024: MAHA TET (Maharashtra Teaching Eligibility Test) is a test organized by the government of Maharashtra. It is an annual state-level examination for Teacher Recruitment in the state of Maharashtra. The selection for the teachers is for the two levels in Maharashtra TET. The first level is from Class I to Class V (Primary Level Teachers) whereas the second level is from the VI-VIII (Upper Primary Level). Educational Qualification

For Level 1 (Class I to Class V) 

• Passing Higher Secondary examination with minimum 50% marks in recognized board two-year-old old Diploma in Primary education in a recognized institution (DTED). OR

• Passing a Higher Secondary examination with minimum 45% in the recognized board as per the National Council for Teachers Education (Regulation, 2002) and passed the two-year Diploma in Primary Education in a recognized institution. OR

• Passing the Higher Secondary examination with minimum 50% marks in boards in the approved institution, four years of Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR

• Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks in recognized Board of Examination, Diploma of two years and Diploma in passing and Examination of a recognized institution.

For Level 2 (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility Criteria

• The degree of recognized University and approved a two-year post-graduate diploma in primary education. OR

• Passing the degree examination with 45% marks in recognized university as per the National Council of Teachers Education, Regulation, 2002 and passed a recognized bachelor in Education. OR

• Passing Higher Secondary examination with minimum 50% marks in the approved examination board and passing Bachelor of 4 years BA/BA.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed./ B.El.Ed.
